Well Mary and family had a wonderful 4th of July. The weather was absolutely beautiful here, sunny and mid-70's. It actually got a little cool eating dinner outside this evening, we all had sweatshirts on.
The day started with Mary and Jackson participating in the 4th annual Connor Loop 4th of July Children's Parade. Everyone had a great time and it was so fun to see how all of the kids decorated their bike and strollers. Mary's was one of the most decked out with balloons and flags.
After all of that excitement the kids took really good naps and then we had some friends over for dinner and to go watch the fireworks at Trophy Point.

Hi Mary Grace! Gosh, it’s been a long time since we wrote you – we are ashamed of ourselves! Bill has a new job, and it’s been kind of crazy, but that’s not much of an excuse. Anyway, we were delighted with your Fourth of July pictures – it sure looks like you and your Little Brother and your Mom and Dad had a great day! And it looks like you all and Sam have been having lots of fun, doing so many interesting things, and are well settled in your new home in New York. We were very sorry to hear about your problems in March, but we are very glad to hear and see that you are doing so much better now! Jane was also very intrigued to find out about your friend Fergie – Jane is a big fan of frogs of all sorts, and one or her heroes is Kermit from the Muppet Show. Maybe you and she can get together one of these days and compare notes!
Anyway, we are going to try and do a much better job staying in touch with you. In the meantime, please say hello and give our love to you folks, and your Little Brother, and Sam.
Love, Jane and Bill
So glad that you had a good 4th of July. Lots of kids in your neighborhood! All wearing red, white and blue. The grass and trees are green and pretty. We had fireworks at the lake and ate way too much food! We decorated a little and listened to patriotic music.
It is great to see you guys doing so well. Best of luck in New York and if you run into Josh Bryan or Bart Wilkison tell them the Zendejas' say hi. You guys are always in our prayers and thoughts.
