Ice Skating

Mary got to go Ice Skating this morning at the Charlottesville Ice Park and she had a great time! Special thanks to Lindsay from the Ice Park for allowing us to do this. Mary had a great time racing against her. Here are some pictures:

WOW! That looks like so much fun! We keep talking about trying it - but the temperature in Minnesota is not cooperating!

Mary,
You must be having so much fun on the ice. You are smiling so big! Your grandma and grandpa learned to skate on a frozen lake. When the ice was very smooth with no snow, we would sometimes hold a towel between us and let the wind blow us to the other end of the lake. The problem was we would always have to skate back against the wind. It was exhausting! When we took your mom and Uncle Bill to a rink in FL, your mom skated really well, but Uncle Bill was always falling. It was funny, but he was mad! Lots of love, Grandma and Grandpa W.

Hi Mary! I have been reading your blog to catch up on all your activities & you have been one busy little girl! I love the pictures of you in your tutu & tiara, you make a very beautiful princess. It looks like the whole family had a great time ice skating and on your mini-vacation to the beach. Its nice to take advantage of all the fun things you can do even when its cold outside. Tomorrow is your 23 months birthday so I will wish you a very happy day and enjoy your yummy cake!
Love, Jan
